Programs

Our programs are elaborated to enhance development of young children in a warm, nurturing, stress-free environment.

The regular early childhood and kindergarten programs in Japanese promote acquisition of the first language and exposure to the Japanese culture through playing, interacting and communication with peers and adults.

Our developmentally appropriate curriculum up to 1st grade covers all aspects of development; cognitive, language, math, science, physical, arts, music, etc.

In our ESL program, the children learn English through games, songs and other enjoyable activities, exploring and experiencing the American culture and society.

As we recognize the traditional Japanese and American cultures equally valuable, we actively promote a variety of cultural exchange programs and events involving local communities, schools, nursing home, etc.

All Japanese teachers have degrees and work with experienced assistants to meet the individual needs of the children. Their approach is always warm and supportive.

Kodomono Kuni strictly adheres to non-discriminatory policy and welcomes children of all racial, religious and ethnic backgrounds.
